Jessica Jernigan , the author of Like Your Laugh and A Holy Hope, has more than two decades of experience as a children's pastor in her local church. Her books aim to create joyful memories and initiate discussions about truth and Jesus during family reading time. Jessica has utilized her career as an author and the founder of Abound Publishing to sow seeds into the hearts of individuals and families– starting within her own home, alongside her husband and 3 daughters.
Haden Rhoads is the illustrator of A Holy Hope and a senior at the University of Arkansas Fort Smith where he is pursuing a degree in chemistry. When Haden was in the 6th grade, he began his art journey painting on canvases which turned into painting on the walls in his room. In high school, he started a small business @redwood.rhoads hand painting Bibles and journals. Recently, he has entered the world of illustrating. He hopes to illustrate more kids stories that are biblical and true and even write some of his own.
