A New Chapter for Abound

"A great pivot."

That’s what, my husband, Bryan keeps calling it—this new vision inspired by the first one. It’s an idea that I can’t shake, no matter how I try. It feels bigger than me—both a little daunting and overwhelmingly peaceful at the same time. It’s a vision for ministries and families.

3.5 years ago, I was entrusted with Abound Publishing. What started with hopes, dreams, plans, and a few rough drafts of books in my notes app has grown into something truly beautiful. My family and I have witnessed this endeavor achieve incredible things. Along the way, we’ve met amazing people who have left an indelible mark on both our lives and this business. Each author and illustrator has become so dear to us, and we are deeply grateful for their contributions to this journey.

From the start, Abound’s vision has been to bring good, purposeful words into the world—and we’ve done that. While our vision remains the same, the way we fulfill it will begin to look different.

Starting in 2025, Abound Publishing will transition to a new approach. All our current authors will either move into self-publishing or partner with other publishing houses to continue sharing their words and distributing their books. This restructuring will allow Abound to focus on being more present for ministries and families. Once again, I find myself filled with dreams, hopes, and a few REALLY big ideas tucked away in my notes app.

What This Means Moving Forward:

Last Chance to Purchase Books from Abound: After December 31, Abound Publishing will no longer sell books. Aboundbooks.com has all the books available. Go and show your favorite authors some love before the end of the year.

Where to Find Our Authors:

You’ll still be able to purchase your favorite authors’ books directly from their own platforms. Make sure you are following them on their social media platforms.

Abound’s New Direction:

We aren’t stopping—we’re evolving. Our mission remains grounded in purpose, and we’re excited to step into this next chapter.
